Why It Should Suck: Does anyone really want another Robin Hood movie? Furthermore, it's being written by Joby Harold, who previously penned two critical duds, Awake and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, and director Otto Bathurst is making his leap from TV to film here, which is always risky.
Why It Might Be Awesome: The cast is the main thing the movie has going for it, with Taron Egerton playing the titular hero, while Jamie Foxx is Little John, Jamie Dornan is Will Scarlet and Ben Mendelsohn is the Sheriff of Nottingham.

If the style and tone are right, this could end up a vigorous, punk-rock reinvention of Robin Hood, but there are still so many factors working against it.
