12. Atomic Blonde

Few trailers released last year made as expert use of popular music as the second trailer for Atomic Blonde, which used New Order's classic "Blue Monday" to introduce audiences to Charlize Theron's protagonist and the period setting, not to mention some kick-a** action beats.

Then James McAvoy shows up, set to a brilliant mash-up of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" and Kanye West's "Black Skinhead", before the trailer shows off a delirious orgy of sex, violence and gorgeous neon visuals.

It's all perfectly synced to the collision of the two songs' lyrics, especially Theron beating the snot out of anyone who crosses her. Simply, if this didn't get you hype for the movie, nothing would.
