Though the Marvel Cinematic Universe gets plenty of flak for its surprising lack of memorable songs, trust Alan Silvestri - who composed The Avengers' iconic theme - to come up with a brilliantly haunting coda to Infinity War.

As Thanos (Josh Brolin) sits on his porch, satisfied with a job well done and staring out across the horizon, Silvestri plays out a simple yet incredibly haunting string motif which couldn't be further from the doom-and-gloom score you'd typically expect from a downcast ending like this.

It may be just a minute in length, but "Porch" instantly became one of the most iconic and unforgettable pieces of music in the MCU, if not superhero cinema as a whole.
