12. The Hulk (Thor: Ragnarok)

Though The Hulk's (Mark Ruffalo) regular attire doesn't amount to much more than some elasticated pants, Thor: Ragnarok got a little more creative and imaginative by giving comic book fans a delightful homage to the beloved Planet Hulk comic.

Though it deviates somewhat from The Hulk's gladiatorial armour in the comic, it's perfectly in line with the spirit of the source material, if seemingly toning things down a bit (namely by removing the spiked shoulder armour).

Considering how so little has been done with the character's design over the course of all the movies he's appeared in, this was a wonderfully novel way to give the big green guy some new duds, at least for a short while.
