Bonkers! Thats the perfect word to describe this Spanish mix of crime and horror that centres on a gang of jewellery thieves who get away with thousands of gold rings and head out to the backroads on the road to safety. However, unfortunately for them they make a stop at a small Inn which just so happens to be run by a coven of deranged witches (one of whom is played by the directors striking wife Carolina Bang) looking to sacrifice them in the name of their Mother God. Like director lex de la Iglesias 2010 film The Last Circus, this is an entertainingly deranged mishmash of different styles; frenetic in pace, ambitious in its visuals and very, very funny for those who like their humour jet black.
