Alfred Burke, a veteran of the Royal Shakespeare Company, played Armando Dippet in Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets. The film would be his final performance before his death on February 16th, 2011. Burke spent ten years portraying Frank Marker on the dramatic series Public Eye, and played Long John Silver in the 1977 television mini-series version of Treasure Island along with numerous other credits over a career that spanned decades.
