15 R-Rated Comic Book Movies That Need To Happen After Deadpool

3. Judge Death: Young Death - Boyhood Of A Superfiend

2012's Dredd is the epitome of a modern cult hit. The reboot of the 2000 A.D. comic property (which was already a dreadful 1995 film starring Sylvester Stallone) wasn't a big hit at the box office, but has since gained notoriety thanks to strong word-of-mouth. While not many people saw it, a sequel would nevertheless be quite ideal.

With that being said, Young Death - Boyhood Of A Superfiend would be the perfect story to adapt (or maybe not, depending on what you loved about the first film). Coming from another dimension, the story details how a young man named Sidney went from being the harshest judge in his precinct, to the complete embodiment of evil.

Hollywood is big on origin stories, and with the renewed interest in the Dredd character, who better to get the big screen treatment than his greatest foe?
