Tying into the fact that the movie's supporting characters were hugely under-developed, what's the point in casting fantastic actors like Vincent D'Onofrio, Omar Sy and Irrfan Khan to then do so little with them? Hell, even Howard and Pratt weren't exactly well-served by the script, for though they did their best trying to carry the film, almost every good actor in the movie didn't have much of a chance to demonstrate their chops. While the original movie had killer parts for almost all of its distinguished (adult) cast, not so much here. Talking of the younger ones...
