Now, Tim and Lex weren't exactly amazing child characters in the original Jurassic Park, but when they were in mortal danger, the audience felt concerned for them. Zach and Gray in Jurassic World? Not so much. They're both painful stereotype characters: Zach is a horny teenager who spends most of the movie creepily staring at girls in the park, while Gray is a super-smart, precocious kid who mopes about his parents' possible divorce. They don't really add much to the movie at all, and are simply added to the considerable pile of annoying blockbuster kids nobody really cares about.
