Here's something which can be achieved without changing a single scrap of Jurassic World's script: don't give so much of it away for free beforehand. The trailers pretty much spelled out the entire plot (except for the final battle) ahead of time, such that the movie was almost completely lacking in surprise. Perhaps Universal were worried that a new Jurassic Park movie wouldn't sell, but hopefully with the enormous box office success, they'll calm it down a bit on the spoilers front next time. After all, it's hard to get too invested in the action when you're so acutely aware of what's about to happen. The over-eager marketing completely sapped Jurassic World of its potential suspense.
