2. Carol Danvers Has A Seventh Infinity Stone - Captain Marvel
The Rumour: Though Thanos is in possession of all six Infinity Stones by the end of Infinity War, Captain Marvel will make the shock reveal that Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) has a secret seventh Infinity Stone.
The fan theory posits that Danvers will use the Ego Stone - which was the long lost seventh Infinity Gem in the comics - in order to eventually defeat Thanos in Avengers 4.
How Likely Is It?: It gets points for creativity, that's for sure, and fans are so fixated on the idea of there being six Infinity Stones that revealing a seventh would be a sufficiently surprising rug-pull.
It'd also feel a bit like the goalposts were being moved, though, and it seems like Markus and McFeely would probably write their conclusion a little smarter and more respectful of their audience than that.
We'll go with no, but it also wouldn't be a total surprise if it did happen.
