4. The Greasy Strangler

A movie that looked from the outset like it was trying to become a future cult favourite, words barely do The Greasy Stranger justice. The story revolves around a father/son duo involved in a weird love triangle, and the son suspects his dad might be the serial killer known as the Greasy Stranger; a killer who literally smears himself in grease and strangles people.

The movie delights in grossing viewers out, with lots of nudity, uncomfortable sex and nightmarish gore. It’s also got a surprisingly sweet relationship between the three leads, and while the wackiness feels forced at times, there’s genuinely very few movies like The Greasy Strangler out there.

Which might be a good thing, thinking about it.
