Yes, David Tennants upcoming role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe wont actually be seen in, well, the cinema but it would be remiss to not include him on this list. The beloved Tenth Doctor actors career has recently received a new boost from his role as DI Alec Hardy in popular crime drama Broadchurch, and it looks like it will get another, as he is slated to appear in Marvels latest Netflix TV series AKA Jessica Jones. Tennant will play the mysterious Kilgrave. In the comics, Killgrave (notice the extra l) is the real name of the Purple Man, a supervillain who can make people do his bidding and the nemesis of heroine Jessica Jones. Theres no word yet on whether Tennant will actually be painted up like Barney the Dinosaur for the role.
