18 Disney Movies Coming In 2021 And Beyond
2. Black Panther 2
When T'Challa was first introduced to the MCU during Captain America: Civil War, there was a lot of buzz surrounding the character. But no one could have ever predicted the performance and impact of Black Panther in 2018. Of course a sequel was always going to happen, and we have to wait until 6th May 2022 to see it.
After the initial movie, and seeing more of the previously hidden nation in Infinity War, any chance to delve deeper into Wakanda is welcome. Though only Chadwick Boseman and Martin Freeman are confirmed to return so far, you can all but guarantee seeing M'Baku, Okoye, and Shuri again.
Not to mention the potential for new characters. Black Panther 2 seems like the perfect platform to introduce the likes of Storm, Namor, and even Doctor Doom to the MCU, and just one of them would be enough to send the fans into melt down.
There have been rumours of a return for Michael B. Jordan's Killmonger, but hopefully this is only as either a flashback or on the ancestral plane. The worst thing Ryan Coogler could do in 2022 is undo one of the most meaningful and poignant deaths in the history of the MCU.
