17. All The Weird Musical Choices

The musical choices used to introduce presenters and play winners off the stage this year were nothing short of bizarre.

Where to begin? Alicia Vikander came out to the Toy Story theme, Viola Davis was played off to Glenn Frey's "The Heat Is On" from the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack, Dev Patel had "Hooked on a Feeling" (which would've made sense for Chris Pratt), and most hilariously, Meryl Streep and Javier Bardem entered to Seal's classic "Kiss from a Rose" from the Batman Forever soundtrack.

Usually the producers try to make the orchestra picks at least tangentially related to the people entering and exiting the stage, but this year? Nope.
