The Rocky spin-off that managed to beat the odds by being really good, Creed tells the story of Apollo Creeds son trying to be a world-class fighter in his own right. In addition to being a really solid drama, the movie also has a single take fight scene that got everyone's attention. The shot might be technically impressive following Creed from the start of a boxing match all the way to the end but its not there just to impress. The director wanted to put the viewer into the mindset of a boxer once theyve entered the ring, so they could feel the isolation and focus of a fighter for themselves. This works a treat, making the fight a real gut-wrenching experience. All of the film's fights are great, but this is the one people will be talking about years from now.
