Cameron is pretty much a walking bag of neuroses, so he's a perfect match for the reckless, carefree Ferris. He'll probably have a heart attack at the age of 27 from being friends with Ferris, but at least he will have had some adventures. Cameron was raised by strict, stuffy parents, and as a result he seems terrified of doing things that might get him in trouble. Despite this, he still goes along with all of Ferris's harebrained schemes. Kicking and screaming, most of the time, but still right there with Ferris. In a lot of ways, Cameron is the more likable and relatable character. Nobody's like Ferris, not in real life, but most people can see a little bit of themselves in Cameron. And not that the movie has to be all about romantic relationships, but he totally should have ended up with Sloan.
