The original adaptation of Pet Sematary is still a bit of a cult classic, thanks in part to the performances in it and some truly haunting moments, but it could always be fairly easily improved upon. And we're finally getting to see that potential met in 2019 with Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer's new take on the story.
It's one of King's most famous stories behind It and takes in a deeply disturbing tale of loss, life beyond death and the horrific trauma of seeing a killer zombie toddler on a rampage. Good old-fashioned family fun this definitely isn't.
The first trailer is already out and it looks to be delivering on the promise of the story and the excellent cast, led by Jason Clarke and John Lithgow. It's going to be as big as It if there's any justice...
