If you're ready for about 4 hours of non-stop hedonism and societal fracturing then look no further than this double bill. While it is true that Trainspotting and A Clockwork Orange both feature very over the top, nihilistic and dark situations throughout they also serve as genius cautionary tales since the audience gets to see the two leads of the movies get their comeuppance multiple times. These two movies are also easy to watch back to back because they both feature very well done voice over narration from the two main characters but also extremely ironic endings that really stick with you long after you've seen them. The best part about watching Trainspotting and A Clockwork Orange together is that you can sympathize with the villains. Most films don't dare to try and achieve this but the ones that do are infinitely more perplexing.
