Magic Mike XXL was a movie all about having fun. Gone were its predecessor's themes of achieving the American Dream, instead replaced by a desire to give audiences what they came to see: hunky guys performing elaborate strip routines. But just having a good-looking man take off his clothes isnt very exciting on its own and this moment in the film is both small and grandiose at the same time, using a comical dance to convey the entire attitude of the film. Tasked with making the day of the dour cashier at a gas station, Big Dick Richie seductively makes his way down the aisles to the tune of Backstreet Boyss I Want It That Way. He shoots water all over the floor, douses himself with chips and is ultimately rewarded by a smile from the cashier at the very end.Not every member of the audience was likely as excited as his gang of friend cheering him on from the other side of the window, but its hard to deny what an epic scene this was, despite only featuring a single character dancing.
