Though the idea of a Terminator sequel understandably makes a lot of fans groan these days, there's actually something to be said for the sixth Terminator movie, which will see James Cameron return to the franchise as a producer, while Deadpool director Tim Miller will take the reins.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will return alongside Linda Hamilton, with the movie reportedly serving as a direct sequel to Terminator 2, with a similar tone and therefore presumably an R rating.

Cameron's involvement is what makes the film remotely interesting, and if it can pull off the now-fashionable soft reboot, as aided by some time travel shenanigans, it could be at least a decent course-correction for the struggling franchise.
