Release Date: June 17, 2016 Arguably Pixar's most popular film amongst all age groups, Finding Nemo never felt like a natural choice to spawn a sequel, and yet here we are in the good year 2016 - more than a decade later - with a fully-fledged follow-up floating on the horizon. Still, given that Finding Dory has been directed by the great Andrew Stanton, helmer of the original picture and the wonderful animated sci-fi venture that was WALL-E, there's good reason to be excited about this one. Granted, the footage glimpsed thus far has been a little underwhelming, but that could be a purposeful move on Pixar's part. Everybody loves Finding Nemo, of course, and there's a lot of pressure on this sequel to deliver the goods - especially in the wake of the entertaining but disappointing Monsters University. But Inside Out proved that Pixar are still capable of genius; here's hoping that Finding Dory has more in common with that movie and less with The Good Dinosaur.
