20 Most Perfect Scenes In Recent Movies

19. Nuremberg - The Footage Is Played

Nuremberg is a very good historical thriller, and it was quite a bit better than expected.

Some might've initially questioned its purpose, given that there are so many other works about the Nuremberg Trials - including 1962's Judgment at Nuremberg, which is arguably one of the greatest films ever made - yet this latest one established itself as a worthwhile flick in its own right, and it looked at the trials through the unique lens of the relationship between Hermann Goring (a fantastic Russell Crowe) and David Kelley (Rami Malek), his psychologist. It also had one arguably one of the best movie moments of 2025 lurking in there.

While so many of the scenes featured on this list are larger-than-life and extravagant, this one is perfect in its simplicity. Footage from the concentration camps is played to the courtroom and it cuts between the footage and the harrowed reactions of everyone present, with no sound but the footage's narration and the gentle whirring of the projector.

Every cinema will have been absolutely silent during this, that's for sure.
