14. Is Hela Really Dead? - Thor: Ragnarok
The Question: Though Hela is seemingly annihilated along with Asgard at the end of the film, we didn't physically see her die. So, is she actually dead for real?
The Likely Answer: A lot of things point to Hela probably still being alive: we didn't see her corpse, the MCU has a history of bringing characters back from apparent death, and Hela being both the Goddess of Death and an Asgardian make it somewhat easier for her to transcend death.
Hela could certainly resurface in Infinity War or Avengers 4, especially if she's going to end up being Thanos' love interest as rumoured. However, this feels more like Marvel Studios wanting to keep the door slightly open for the character rather than there being any direct plans for Hela to return in the near-future.
It could go either way, honestly.
