As compelling as Rebecca Ferguson's Ilsa Faust character is, the movie does continue the M:I tradition of using the camera to excessively leer at the film's gorgeous leading lady. Whether it's the gratuitous shots of Ilsa's long legs protruding out as she readies a sniper rifle and the needless panty shot (pictured above) during the Vienna sequence, showing a wealth of sideboob during a costume change after the underwater scene, or emerging from a pool in a bikini (though the butt shot from the trailers has been cut out here), it all feels a bit much and lowest-common denominator in 2015. Aren't we past this sort of thing by now? Expect the feminist uproar to kick off any moment now...
