Billed As: Animal House meets Porkies with a side of Grumpy Old Men. Basically, the same again.

Hype: Though Neighbours (or Bad Neighbours as it's known in the UK thanks to the weird continued success of the Australian soap of the same name) is a fairly simple type of comedy, it worked, grossing a massive $270m from just $18m. It was inevitable that there'd be a sequel, even if writing one meant basically treading the same ground.

Heck, it worked for The Hangover.

So far, the reviews haven't been particularly wild with praise (it sits on 60% on Rotten Tomatoes), but it's likely to be one of those films - like The Hangover sequels, in fact - that trades to an established audience and plays on the exact same things that made the first film work. It's not going to pull up any trees come awards time, but expect a solid, funny comed.
