During the movie's opening chase sequence, a monument is briefly shown heavily resembling the Statue of Liberty, but - of course - the name "Gotham" is emblazoned over the top. Yes, Two-Face's helicopter ends up smashing into the statue (which is apparently, in fact, called the Statue of Justice), causing a huge explosion but mostly just distracting most adult movie-goers, who will doubtless be wondering why a Statue of Liberty rip-off has shown up in a Batman movie...
