5 Comic Book Storylines That Should Never Be Adapted (Again)
5. Daredevil: Born Again
It really is understandable why there has been such a push for Daredevil to receive a fourth season, seeing as the first three were so high quality.
Part of the reason for the brilliance of this season was the comic that inspired it, that being the wonderful Daredevil: Born Again. Much like the book, the show tore down Matt Murdock's world, allowing for the Kingpin to rise up in his absence, only for the Man Without Fear to journey back up to his usual form to take the villain down a peg.
The show, much like some of the best comic book adaptations, played fast and loose with the source material - and it worked, creating a phenomenal season that other superhero series will have to try very hard to top.
As such, adapting this book again would really be a massive mistake, as while the Netflix show may have been cancelled, it doesn't seem like the Charlie Cox incarnation of the character will be replaced any time soon, so it wouldn't make sense to revisit old ground with the same character.
Plus, any other attempt to do the comic such justice would have a very tough time trying to best the utter perfection of this series, so why bother trying?
