5 Comic Books That Would Be More Successful On TV Than Film

2. Daredevil

There are not many people in the world that will say that Ben Affleck€™s portrayal of blind vigilante, Daredevil, was outstanding. It was far from it, but he isn€™t the only one to blame. Director Mark Steven Johnson made the mistake of not taking the character too seriously thus creating a very light and boring superhero film. He would go on to make this mistake again with 2007€™s Ghost Rider. The only redeeming part of the film was Michael Clark Duncan€™s depiction of the Kingpin character, and unfortunately we will never get to see him reprise that role. Daredevil is a character that shouldn€™t be limited to film. Where other Marvel characters have boring secret identities, Matt Murdock is a famous attorney working in one of the worst neighborhoods in the city. The show can be interesting in both aspects of his life where he acts as lawyer by day, and judge and executioner by night. The show wouldn€™t need to be on cable; as long as it was done properly it could be a successful mix between Law and Order and Arrow.
