This is one of those movies where you wonder where it all went wrong. You have some truly talented actors, a funny premise and a good director. In this case, its most likely down to a lackluster script. The film suffers from the same problem that has plagued many dark comedies: when screenwriters run out of good ideas, they throw in the Mafia and hope thatll be enough to get laughs. Not here. Jon Stewart occasionally mocks his participation in this box office bomb and he has every right to. Its not the kind of film you can point to and say, I was proud to be a part of it.
