32. Godzilla Vs. Kong

Though expectations for Godzilla vs. Kong certainly dropped following the release of the colossally disappointing Godzilla: King of the Monsters, it's still easy to be excited about a film where two of the most legendary movie titans will square off.

Yes, there's a frustratingly large human cast once again and it's practically inevitable that there won't be a decisive winner between the two monsters - as they'll surely end up teaming up to battle a larger threat - but if director Adam Wingard (The Guest, Blair Witch) can train his focus on mayhem over limp melodrama, this could still deliver the frothy goods.

Don't expect greatness, but it's entirely possible this is one of 2021's pleasant surprises. Fingers crossed.
