20. West Side Story

Pushed back almost an entire year from its planned Christmas 2020 release date, Fox clearly has big plans for Steven Spielberg's remake of hit musical West Side Story, seemingly believing it a major awards contender.

Ansel Elgort and Rachel Zegler lead the cast as Tony and Maria, and while many will keenly argue that the 1961 film really doesn't need much of an update - and many more have argued that Elgort is miscast as Tony - it's still tough to argue with the appeal of Spielberg tackling his first-ever musical.

Whether it lives up to the awards buzz or not, you know you've got a safe pair of hands with Spielberg.
