The starting pistol has been fired and the shooting of The Legend Continues is underway, being filmed on location in Atlanta. The shoot began on March 4th and is expected to last until the end of May. Its been almost a year since Ron Burgundy jazz-fluted his way onto the Conan OBrien show to announce the sequel to Anchorman. To see these plans finally come to fruition is as satisfying as Scarlett Johansson handing you an ice cold beverage on a warm midsummers afternoon. Despite both films paying homage to the city of San Diego, none of the filming was actually done there. Anchorman was filmed mostly in Los Angeles and The Legend Continues is being filmed in Atlanta.
