3. Riddler's Signature

In a particularly mysterious shot from the trailer, Batman stands inside a heavily graffiti'd, probably abandoned building, staring up at the ceiling as light beams in on him, an object clutched in his hand. There are numerous possible bits of information to be taken from this shot, but one of the least obvious concerns the building's vandal markings.

On the pillar nearest to the screen, there is a question mark drawn just above where it reads 'DRUNK PUNX' (hopefully the name of a band that does the rounds in Gotham). It's no random sign, though, but quite clearly a question mark done in the style of notorious Batman villain The Riddler.

There's no indication yet that The Riddler will actually appear in Batman V Superman - where exactly would he fit in, between all the other 'rebooted' characters featuring here? - so it's likely that the question mark signature is just an Easter egg. Which is for the best, as you imagine Batman will have enough on his plate already in this movie.
