2. The Kryptonite Spear

Another image taken from the shot inside the graffiti'd room, this one concerns what it actually is that Batman appears to be holding in his hands. And it's not, as many have assumed, one of those giant Toblerone bars nobody bothers to buy at airports, picked up by Bruce Wayne from duty-free during one of his recent excursions.

Nor is it said to be the other elongated weapon Batman is seen to be holding later in the trailer, the long-barreled sniper rifle. Instead, the object is now reported to be a Kryptonite spear, something that Batman will find helpful when going up against what is basically an extraterrestrial with god-like powers.

If the report is true, this weapon could prove decisive in Batman's fight against Superman. Because as impressive as Bruce Wayne's tank-like Batman armour appears at the end of the trailer, the man's clearly forgetting Superman just destroyed a city using only his body in the last film, and a bit of extra armour probably isn't going to add all that much protection.
