6. A Literal 2-Year Old Played Chucky

Back in the late 80s, before CGI was so prevalent and studios had to rely on more practical effects, MGM were in the midst of making the first Child's Play and realised that they needed to shoot some sequences in which iconic killer doll Chucky would have to walk around and attack victims.

Naturally, they turned to child labour.

Ed Gale played Chucky for the most part, but even his short stature wasn't quite enough and thanks to some recently unearthed behind-the-scenes shots from the set, we're all reminded that they also hired 2-year-old Hunter Marks to stand in. They basically just dressed him in a wig and overalls and got him to run to his mother. That made for one of the creepiest horror movie set pictures of all time.

Also, it was originally considered to call Child's Play Bloody Buddy, which is about the worst title for anything ever.
