9 Questions That Need To Be Answered About The Doctor Who Movie

3. Will It Be Better Than The 1996 Movie?

Because let's face it, the 1996 TV movie is basically a lesson in how not to make a Doctor Who movie. Or rather, how to make an extended Doctor Who episode, pass it off as a movie and screw it up to the point of no return. Yes, Doctor Who fans were glad to see their favourite show back after its pro-longed hiatus and yes, Paul McGann was obviously born to play the leading role, but it could've been so much more and it's no wonder plans to relaunch the series fizzled out like a lead balloon when they went and gave us this as their proposed pilot. As such, the new Doctor Who movie should be everything the first one wasn't, including an actual movie, but they've already ticked that box so things are already looking more promising. They'll probably be loads of kissing in this one, too, just to p*ss everyone off again.
