5. Meredith Vickers Returns As An Android

The Theory: Charlize Theron's presumed-dead Weyland Corp rep will return in android form to p*** off the Covenant's crew with her hyper-bureaucratic ways.

The Truth: This was always a dubious rumour that felt more like a wishful fan theory than anything else, and thankfully Vickers gets nowhere near the movie, as great an actress as Theron is.

The closest thing we get is a cameo from her father, Peter Weyland, who appears in flashback form in his younger days, having just created David.

The film does nothing to further the "Vickers is an android" theory. She's dead and that's that.
