9. Oram Takes A Peek

In terms of unconscionable character decisions, none has received more flak from fans so far than Oram's ill-advised choice to not only follow David into his creepy egg chamber, but willingly stare at a xenomorph egg, which of course results in a facehugger impregnating him with a xenomorph embryo.

Considering that David wasn't exactly shy about mentioning his tinkering with alien biology nor expressing his horror when Oram killed the neomorph, it's a really, really dumb move to then immediately trust him when he tells you that odd-looking object is safe.

Some have tried to argue that being armed and a man of faith made Oram feel confident and in control of the situation, but no, just no. It's really dumb.
