The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has now been in US cinemas for a week, having been released three weeks ago internationally. The sequel has performed relatively well - particularly outside of the United States - and looks set to make around $750 million worldwide at the box office. As the hype begins to die down and comic book movie fans start to focus more on their next fix - X-Men: Days of Future Past, which is released in the next couple of weeks - it seems like a good time to start speculating about the third Amazing Spider-Man movie. The sequel is set for a June 2016 release and, going by the number of things the second movie set up, it could have a massive amount of stuff going on. The blatant teasers, the Easter eggs and indeed the things The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ignored would indicate that number three is going to packed to the brim with action, new characters and plot development. Some elements of The Amazing Spider-Man 3 have been confirmed, some are just obviously going to happen and some, at this stage, are just pure guesswork, but it's fun to put together some ideas to get a picture of how the movie might end up looking. In this article, we're going to do exactly that - here are ten things we expect to see in The Amazing Spider-Man 3 (note that this article contains spoilers from the first two Amazing Spider-Man movies)...

Honourable Mention: Venom

We don't think Venom will be a part of The Amazing Spider-Man 3, as his own titular movie will likely cover the character's origin story - but he may be somewhat included by virtue of another Easter egg. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 specifically mentioned that Oscorp had stored the venom from radioactive spiders. Could this venom be a new origin for the normally symbiotic character? Maybe the third movie will give some more hints, but we can't see the actual character appearing. And now on to the actual list...
