3. Killer Klowns from Outer Space Reboot

Despite being a commercial success, Killer Klowns from Outer Space hasn't spawned a single sequel in the near-four decades since its release, despite the Chiodo brothers' spirited attempts to do so.

They became exasperated enough with the process that Stephen Chiodo called Hollywood a "horrible machine" back in 2021.

But last year, a report began doing the rounds that a reboot of the franchise was in the works at Amazon, and strangest of all it was apparently being produced by Ryan Gosling of all folk.

Even accepting that Killer Klowns has grown in popularity as a property over the years, with a merchandising line and even a recent video game, it's just tough to believe that, after all this time, such a niche IP will finally be coming back.

And the Gosling factor is even more puzzling. This sounds like one of those pie-in-the-sky projects that simply never goes before cameras or comes out.
