The Super Bowl is the biggest sporting event in the world, so it's fitting that's where we received a new look at the biggest cinema event in the world.

Movie trailers have long since been a major part of the big game (and indeed one of the best parts too), and Super Bowl LIII was no different. There were new spots for Captain Marvel, Toy Story 4, Us, Hobbs & Show, Alita: Battle Angel, and more. But neither any of them, nor the Patriots' predictable victory, can top the hype machine that is Avengers: Endgame.

After a first trailer arrived back in December, it was widely expected the Super Bowl would bring a new look at the upcoming fourth Avengers movie, and Marvel didn't let us down. The 30-second spot does enough to satisfy the appetite before another full trailer arrives (presumably) next month, and also gives us plenty to chew on ahead of the movie's April release.

Marvel are still marketing this in a notably different way - the tone is much darker, there's no action etc - and aren't spoiling anything, but there's still a lot to unpack in the trailer.
