11. Silver Surfer Is Trapped Within It
As revealed by the newest Metacritic cast listing for Infinity War, Silver Surfer is set to be a HUGE secret character and will be played by Curt Clendenin - presumably in a mo-cap performance.
Since there's no way to have him inform the Avengers of Thanos' impending arrival, as he does in the comics, the theory goes that he is trapped within the Soul Stone and will return when the Stone is found. Again, that would mirror the direction of the Infinity Gauntlet comic.
That could then set up him joining the heroes to help fight against Thanos' attempts to rebalance the universe.

Even though he's listed on the castlist, it still feels unlikely that the Surfer will appear. He was previously forbidden because of the Marvel/Fox rights issue - and while there would have been time to add a cameo, it still feels like Marvel would resist rushing a wholly CGI character.
It's still a good idea though.
