Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice has hardly avoided controversy when it comes to casting decisions; Jesse Eisenburg and Ben Affleck were the subjects of intense criticism (much of it undeserved). If Baker were to be cast in the film we would have a decision which fans would have no excuse to moan about. The fact that fans know who he is, and have no issue with his portrayal of The Joker, would mean we wont have to endure the odd criticisms of actors who have been cast in comic book films Affleck has certainly been the subject of criticism because of his involvement in 2003s awful Daredevil film, and Eisenburg has been criticised as he does not immediately strike us as a Lex Luthor style villain. Bakers work as The Joker before would mean we have an idea of how he would portray the character, and he has the right look for the character.
