There have already been two distinct, memorable versions of Gotham City on the big screen, and Dawn Of Justice will reveal Zack Snyders take on Bruce Waynes hometown. After Tim Burtons typically twisted and suitably gothic Gotham and Christopher Nolans Chicago-inspired cityscape, the Man Of Steel director has a job on his hands if he is to deliver a fresh and interesting interpretation. Nevertheless, its officially the case that Gotham will play a part in proceedings and the trailer should provide a flavour of what to expect. Further leaked images have revealed that a new version of Batmans famed origin story has been shot, and some video footage has also found its way to the Internet in which several Gotham City Police Department cars screech to a halt in front of an old mansion. Whether the building in question - the Ransom Gillis House in Detroit - is the latest iteration of Wayne Manor, Arkham Asylum or another building entirely is not yet known. However, its already clear that it will provide the backdrop for some dramatic moments, even if whether or not Gotham will see as much of the action as Metropolis is anyones guess.
