In this day and age its extremely difficult to keep every detail of a major release under wraps. When the movie in question happens to be one of the most eagerly anticipated films of the decade thus far, that task becomes nigh on impossible. A couple of leaked images from the Dawn Of Justice shoot are particularly telling and reveal what promises to be a driving plot point, so consider yourself spoiler warned (in this entry and beyond). Extras from one of the location shoots have been snapped brandishing signs denouncing the so-called saviour of Metropolis in a major protest. Some of the slogans on display include Earth belongs to humans, When invasion becomes reality, revolt becomes duty and Thanks for the help sarcastically scrawled above orange flames, so its clear that many of the citizens of Supermans adopted city want rid of him. Another widely disseminated image is of a Superman statue, so there may be some degree of ambivalence among the inhabitants of Metropolis as to whether Superman is a friend or foe. However these events play out in the movie, the trailer is bound to feature a taste of this anti-Superman sentiment and possibly a clearer indication of how this will factor into the plot as a whole.
