Having starred in both the Avengers and Thor as Loki, Hiddleston's not only used to playing a superhero, but a dark one at that. And while he might not be as strong or commanding as the great Christian Bale, he can certainly crank up the ferocity and snarl like a demon. Hiddleston might not be the obvious choice for Batman - he's not a traditional choice, at all - but casting someone more as a psychological opponent for Superman, a character who has strong in mind as well as in body, might put a spin on the role that differentiates it from Bale's performance. It's unlikely that Tom Hiddleston would find himself in two huge superhero roles, but wouldn't Tumblr go mad if he did? It would provide a unique opportunity to the Brit, and not one that would likely come around again any time soon.
