20 Totally INSANE Moments From Recent Horror Movies

18. Castration Fake-Out - Send Help

Sam Raimi's Send Help is one glorious sick puppy of a movie with its fair share of WTF moments to choose from.

But perhaps the most bonkers of the lot occurs when the stranded Linda (Rachel McAdams) and her a**hole boss Bradley (Dylan O'Brien) finally appear to bond over a meal, only for Linda to realise that Bradley has poisoned her food with toxic berries.

As Linda is incapacitated, Bradley attempts to escape the island on his makeshift raft, yet the raft is swiftly destroyed by powerful waves, sending him all the way back to shore.

The next day, Linda retaliates by paralysing Bradley with octopus toxin before grabbing a knife and appearing to castrate him.

However, after a moment Linda reveals that she actually slaughtered a rat, nevertheless confirming beyond any doubt to Bradley that she's far more of a force to be reckoned with than he initially believed.
