16. A Quiet Place Part III

Believe it or not, it's been more than five years since the release of A Quiet Place Part II, which has left many fans frustrated considering the cliffhanger that the sequel ended on.

Yet due to the pandemic, industry strike action, and filmmaker John Krasinski's busy schedule, production of A Quiet Place III ended up being pushed by several years.

But it's now finally shooting, and will pick up with the Abbott family presumably seeking to end the alien invasion once and for all - or in the very least, survive.

In addition to Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, and Cillian Murphy reprising their roles, the cast will be rounded out by Jack O'Connell, Katy O'Brian, Jason Clarke, and most surprisingly Alex Wolff, reprising his role as the doomed Reuben from prequel A Quiet Place: Day One - presumably in flashbacks here.

Considering the relative modesty of the original 2018 film, it's been a trip to see the franchise blossom into a genuine blockbuster IP in its own right - one which will hopefully stick the landing with this seemingly climactic entry.

A Quiet Place Part III releases on July 30, 2027.
