3. General Fallon - Jack The Giant Slayer (2013)

His turn as General Fallon was the exact opposite of everything that worked about Nighy€™s performance as Davy Jones in Pirates, this time without being marred by a bad script and poor mo-cap.

Seriously, you€™d have to be told this was made seven years after Dead Man€™s Chest, if you didn€™t vaguely know already.

That same Scottish accent makes a comeback here, but because we€™ve heard it before coming through all those tentacles, it simply felt uninspired and unoriginal. A rare misstep for Nighy.
